Annual Conference
AUGUST 5-7, 2025
Each year secondary and post-secondary transportation instructors from around the Midwest meet at MTTIA for professional development, training, and networking. We have training available in Automotive, Auto Body, Heavy Truck, and Diesel Equipment. Attending this year’s conference will satisfy the yearly requirement of 20 hours of ASE Certified Automotive Technology training. This is a must conference for those who want to stay abreast of changing technology! You will also receive a CEU certificate at the end of the conference.
Conference Schedule
Enjoy three days of professional sessions along with evening networking activities that include a boat cruise and the Minnesota State Transportation Center’s Annual Award Presentation.

Networking Boat Cruise

Enjoy a boat cruise at Cragun's resort on Gull Lake. Take in the the scenic waters of Gull Lake – one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Brainerd area while networking with your peers and industry partners.

Awards Presentation

The Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence will host their annual Awards Presentation over dinner on Wednesday night for educators, industry, and staff.

This awards dinner is included in conference registration and only covers 1 person. Any additional attendees will need to purchase a separate ticket if space is available.
New Teacher Mentoring
New teachers (less than 3 years or teachers that are newly assigned to teaching transportation) are invited to a free Tuesday morning kick-off hosted by the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence packed with great information and special guest speakers. View 2024 Flyer
CEU’s & Credits

Take home a certificate with 20 hours of CEU’s.

Attending MTTIA qualifies for a 3 Graduate Credit workshop under the Department of Technological Studies at St. Cloud State University.
Conference attendees will be able to register for credit by attending conference sessions, demonstrations and other related activities.
Individuals will be asked to submit a synopsis of technical presentations in which they have attended, and how information from these sessions could be used in the classroom with their students.
Costs
3 graduate credits are a total of $500 (this is discounted from their normal rate of $1,500)
You must attend the conference for all 3 days to qualify.
